Understanding Ethics and Insurance
This interactive, participant-driven course reviews the differences between ethics, morals, and values. Then the course delves into some of the various branches of ethics. Participants will learn about Meta Ethics, Normative Ethics, Applied Ethics, Moral Ethics, and Descriptive Ethics. Each branch will be defined with participants giving insight into how each branch can be observed. Finally, participants will look back at previous examples and, using a checklist, determine if they are confident in the decision that was made for each scenario.Registration will close on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 – late registrations may not be able to be accommodated.
